About this Event
🎹 Turn up, plug in, and rock out w fellow musicians of all abilities. We ask that you can at least feel confident playing the songs of the artist you are attending! Once the right musical instruments/attendees are commited, a whatsapp group will be made so we can chat and familiarise ourselves with the music before our jam session, as well as hash out details of what we should bring etc.
💖 Our events rely on having 1. The right musician group (e.g. Acoustic sessions are great, but ideally we want as many musicians coming together as possible to make some great sound.) and 2. People turning up and committing when they say they are. This organisation is based on donations, and it is not financially viable to organise these if the musicians drop out randomly. Don't let your fellow bandmates down if you can't come - communication is key!
🌈 It will be a purely first come-first serve basis. We do not judge on experience or ability, as long as you can play the tunes on the day and have a positive attitude. We have a Whatsapp Group where you can post your own ads for jam sessions based on your own genre/album/artist preferences and specify what you can play.

💖 Girl Band is a FLINTA (female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans and asexual) group, so we do ask that you identify as such.
🎵 Beginners, all ages, and those new to jamming are welcome and encouraged (but please make sure you can play the pieces by the time the jam session occurs).
