he Ladies Day Out Luncheon was created by a group of passionate volunteers who first found connection through Ladies Hunting Camp, hosted by Yow Hunting Camps. Like many women entering outdoor spaces, each of us has been the “new lady” at an event—unsure where to start, who to ask, or whether we truly belonged. That shared experience is exactly why this luncheon exists.
Our goal is simple: to create a welcoming, educational, and fun space where women who love the outdoors—whether through hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, or learning something new—can come together, build genuine connections, and grow in confidence. This is a place to ask questions, hear real stories, learn from others, and leave feeling supported and inspired.
With the support of our generous sponsors and product donors, the luncheon also celebrates women in the outdoors through exciting raffles and prizes, offering guests the chance to win incredible gear and tools that help further their outdoor experiences. More than anything, Ladies Day Out Luncheon is about community—bringing women together, lifting each other up, and reminding every attendee that they are not alone on their outdoor journey.
What to Expect at the Ladies Day Out Luncheon
Expect a welcoming afternoon centered on community, connection, and shared passion for the outdoors. You’ll hear from inspiring women in the outdoor world—some who have made it their full-time career, and others who pursue the outdoors as a lifelong passion or hobby. Through their stories, you’ll learn how time spent outside can be life-changing and how meaningful connections are often formed along the way.
In addition to guest speakers and open conversation, the luncheon will feature fun games and raffles with the chance to win incredible outdoor gear and tools. Lunch and raffle tickets are included with the cost of entry. Hosted at Juniper Ridge Golf Course, guests are also welcome to enjoy the venue’s no-host bar throughout the luncheon.
Most importantly, our volunteers are there to ensure you feel comfortable, welcomed, and connected. Whether you arrive with friends or on your own, we’ll help you learn the flow of the event and make meaningful connections before you leave—so you walk away feeling confident, inspired, and part of the community.
This event takes place during the Central Oregon Sportsmen’s Show and is located near the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center at the Juniper Ridge Golf Course at 1938 SW Elkhorn Ave, Redmond, OR 97756.
