For one afternoon only, the historic Roedde House Museum transforms into an intimate world of corsetry, fashion, and storytelling—hosted by Lace Embrace Atelier, home to the world’s largest private antique corset collection.

Laced in Time is not just a fashion show—it’s an experience.

Guests are invited to enjoy a tea party while experiening a curated fashion presentation inspired by centuries of corsetry—from historical silhouettes to modern interpretations. Models will move through the rooms of the house, each look numbered in the tradition of classic couture salons, allowing you to engage with the garments up close.

Our Host:

Lace Embrace Atelier is a Vancouver-based corsetry house with nearly three decades of expertise in bespoke, bridal, medical, and historical corsetry.

Founded by corsetiere Melanie Talkington, the atelier is internationally recognized for its craftsmanship and its extraordinary archive of over 550 antique corsets—many of which have been exhibited at institutions including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

This event supports the continued preservation and exhibition of this collection.
