LABRYS is a music project forged by Penny Pitchlynn, an alternative singer-songwriter rooted in Oklahoma. The band started as a solo recording project and gradually became a four piece band bringing the songs to life on the stage with Billy Ried, Ben See and Tim Gregory. The music has been featured in shows like FX’s Reservation Dogs and Netflix’s Nobody Wants This as well as many others. Currently releasing singles and working on a new full-length, LABRYS has put out a self-titled EP and released and toured “10:10” a full-length record independently. Combining a graveled low end, ruminative vocals, and vulnerable lyrics, LABRYS wields a heavy yet agile sound, evaporating experiential stones into smoky apparitions of self-reflection.
