Celebrate with us at the grand opening of La Tiendita at Gulfton!
Operated by the Tejano Center, La Tiendita is a resource designed to provide access to healthy food, health education, and connection to a multitude of resources for families in the Gulfton Community and Greater Houston area.
This grand opening event is a celebration of community and a preview of the support La Tiendita will bring to local families.
At the event, you’ll get a sneak peek at our upcoming services, including food assistance programs, free healthy cooking classes, and connections to valuable community resources. With support from our partners—Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones, Houston Food Bank, and the American Heart Association—we’re excited to introduce La Tiendita as a hub for health, wellness, and community connection.
