La Piscine-The Swimming Pool

In a villa on the Côte d’Azur overlooking the gulf of Saint-Tropez, Marianne (Romy Schneider) and Jean-Paul (Alain Delon) hope to enjoy their summer holiday alone. All seems perfect until the unexpected arrival of their friend, cynical playboy Harry (Maurice Ronet), Marianne’s ex-lover, and his eighteen-year-old daughter Penelope (Jane Birkin). They are invited to stay over, but their arrival triggers intense jealousy, sexual tension, and a fatal confrontation in the pool.
