Join us for La Peña's Annual Holiday Mercado and find the perfect handcrafted gifts for your loved ones this holiday season!

Support over 40 local artisans and vendors showcasing beautiful handcrafted goods, along with unique Latin American imports and crafts. Enjoy traditional foods available for purchase, so come hungry and bring the entire family!

We are seeking local Bay Area BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, multiracial, and migrant vendors! Apply to showcase and sell your art and creations at this year's Holiday Mercado. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Getting to La Peña

There are a few ways to get to La Peña! Free neighborhood street parking is available. The 18 bus line stops right across the street at the Shattuck Ave. and Woolsey St. stop, and Ashby BART station is just 2 blocks away. Convenient bike racks are located right in front of our center. Our venue is wheelchair accessible, with a stepless entry and wide entryways.

• Paid Parking: The nearest paid parking is at the Ashby BART station, just a short walk from our venue.
• Restrooms: Our restrooms are all-gender and wheelchair accessible.
• COVID-19 Guidelines: Masks are strongly encouraged! If you are feeling unwell, please help protect our community by staying home.
• Events for All Ages: Most of our events are family-friendly. Check individual event descriptions for specific age recommendations.
• Food & Drinks: Light refreshments are often available during events, and we have Los Cilantros Mexican Restaurant open during our events for our guests looking to grab a bite before, during, or after our events.

Cómo llegar a La Peña

Hay varias formas de llegar a La Peña. Hay estacionamiento gratuito en las calles del vecindario. La línea 18 de autobús tiene parada enfrente de La Peña en la parada de Shattuck Ave. y Woolsey St., y la estación de Ashby BART está a sólo 2 cuadras de distancia. Enfrente de nuestro centro hay un espacio para las bicicletas. Nuestro centro es accesible en silla de ruedas, con una entrada sin escalones y amplios pasillos.

• Estacionamiento de pago: El estacionamiento de pago más cercano se encuentra en la estación de Ashby BART, a una corta distancia a pie de nuestro centro.
• WC: Nuestros baños están adaptados para todos los géneros y son accesibles para silla de ruedas.
• COVID-19 Guías: Se recomienda el uso de mascarillas. Si no se siente bien, por favor ayude a proteger a nuestra comunidad quedándose en casa.
• Eventos para todas las edades: La mayoría de nuestros actos son para toda la familia. En la descripción de cada evento se indican las edades recomendadas.
• Comida y bebida: Durante los eventos a veces ofrecemos refrescos ligeros, y durante nuestros eventos el restaurante mexicano Los Cilantros está abierto para los que quieran comer algo antes, durante o después de nuestros eventos.
