About this Event
This award-winning 40-minute documentary film, directed by Abby Ginzberg and Ken Schneider and featuring Star Trek actor George Takei, came out in 2017 after Donald Trump became president the first time. It was called "a cautionary tale for these dark times." The film will be followed by a discussion led by Japanese American curators of the Berkeley Historical Society & Museum exhibit, Roots, Removal and Resistance: Japanese Americans in Berkeley. The exhibit will be open for half an hour after the program.
