About Café Joyeux:
Café Joyeux is the first global family of nonprofit inclusive cafés dedicated to training and employing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), such as Down syndrome or autism spectrum. Over 8 million people in the US are living with IDD without access to meaningful job opportunities. Café Joyeux’ mission is to give them a future and a place in society. Through our cafés and premium coffee brand, 100% of profits support meaningful careers in inclusive workplaces. Our first US café opened two years ago in midtown Manhattan at 599 Lexington Avenue on World Down syndrome day and we are looking to expand across the US.
