What is LA Ofrenda?
LA Ofrenda is a story of sacrifice and creation; a multimedia Aztec dance performance – converging traditional dances, cosmology, light, video, music, aromas and neo-Mesoamerican regalia in an adaptation of an Aztec creation story of the 5th Sun. LA Ofrenda is an offering to Los Angeles, by providing a beautiful reflection of the community, it’s an opportunity to deepen the viewers appreciation of the living tradition of Danza Azteca.
