NL Rébecca Chaillon, een pot uit de stad, en Sandra Calderan, een plattelandslesbo, vormen zowel op als naast het podium een koppel. In deze vrolijke, intieme voorstelling deconstrueren, ontleden en analyseren ze wat het precies betekent om een ‘gezin te vormen’. Beiden bevragen hun eigen geërfde familie, geconstrueerde familie en gekozen familie. Puttend uit een cultuur van tv-series, vinden ze plezier in het remixen van patriarchale, witte, hetero, traditionele familievoorbeelden.

Rébecca Chaillon, une gouine des villes, et Sandra Calderan, une gouine des champs, forment un couple tant à la ville qu’à la scène. Dans ce spectacle joyeux et intime, elles déconstruisent, dissèquent et analysent ce que veut dire précisément « former une famille ». Toutes deux s'interrogent sur la famille dont elles ont hérité, celle qu'elles ont construite et celle qu'elles ont choisie. Elles s’amusent à remixer des exemples de familles patriarcales, blanches, hétérosexuelles et traditionnelles en s’inspirant de la culture des séries télé.

Rébecca Chaillon, a dyke from the city, and Sandra Calderan, a country lesbian, are a couple on- and off-stage. In this joyful, intimate performance, they attempt to deconstruct, dissect, and analyse what it means to ‘form a family’. Both question their own inherited family, constructed family, and chosen family. Drawing from a culture of TV series, they find pleasure in remixing patriarchal, white, hetero, traditional family examples.
