On November 27 we revive a scandal born in Paris 1899. When a wealthy American expatriate confessed to Madame Simone DuBois her need to escape the suffocating propriety of her family's Thanksgiving celebrations La Fête was born: a feast of pleasure before the feast of propriety.
The tradition continues.
LA FÊTE
November 27
9 PM - 3 AM
Why the night before Thanksgiving?
Because contrast heightens pleasure.
Because secrets make smiles sweeter.
Because sin makes virtue more satisfying.
THE EXPERIENCE:
Fountains flow with spirits of a different nature.
Some feasts require no table.
Not all centerpieces are meant to be still.
Some traditions are better left unspoken.
Certain appetites demand more than food.

On Thanksgiving day you'll sit at a family table buttoned up and virtuous.
The night before experience what those first repressed Puritans never dared imagine.
They'll give thanks for their blessings.
You'll become something to be thankful for.
They'll say grace.
You'll redefine divine.
As Madame DuBois used to tell her guests: "Let them wonder why you're smiling at their pious table."
Secure your place at our feast.
And when the time comes should your family ask about your dreamy smile or late arrival to Thanksgiving dinner simply blame the rough seas. Some traditions never die.
Time waits for no pleasure,
The Keepers of La Fête
P.S. Start planning your escape now. The best alibis like the finest pleasures require preparation.
