Bachata Fever Dance is super excited to present a special dance social event to celebrate Dominican Independence Day earlier at La Bodega on Friday 20th February 2025.Drawing inspiration from the parties of the Caribbean, come down and explore some amazing Latin music and delicious food.
It is a FREE entry event for social dancing with complimentary Bachata/Merengue dance class starts at 8pm. Social dancing starts at 9pm with fantastic Salsa, Bachata, Merengue music played by DJ Hong Starr.
To add more fun and celebrating this special occasion, we are going to have a Bachata competition on the next day (Saturday 21st Feb) with similar process as the local competition in Dominican Republic. It is NOT Jack & Jill style but still partners social dancing to random Bachata music. The competitors will register the competition with their chosen/agreed dance partner well before the event.
