This is not a traditional tasting. It's an evening in which we explore the ancient culture of southern Italy through the lens of its most talented wine producers. We'll explore the range of expressions from grape varietals that have been thriving in the area since Roman times. From the elegant and mineral strength of Fiano to the perfumed and tannic Piedirosso wines, we'll witness the beauty that resonates in one of Europe's most important wine regions.
The evening is curated to allow for great wine to meet great conversation, inspired by the awe of Vesuvius and the coastal rhythm of the Amalfi. Expect a comfortable setting with a natural progression of the top expressions of Sparkling, Mineral whites, and the Powerful & Perfumed red wines of Campania.
What You'll Taste
A guided tasting of 4 to 6 Italian wines, selected to reflect coastal living and seasonal freshness:
- A welcome pour of Italian sparkling
- Crisp, mineral-driven whites such as Falanghina or Vermentino
- Expressive Southern Italian varietals like Fiano di Avellino or Greco di Tufo
- A light, refreshing rosé (optional)
