Thought Leader, Celina Jacques (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist & Board Certified Art Therapist)
Celina specializes in using creativity and ritual for healing the heart, mind, and spirit. She is a creative soul, a wounded healer, an artist, therapist, and art therapist.
For the last 20 years she has been working with mentors, healers, and teachers to deepen her spiritual practice, study meditation, and neuroscience. In 2014 she began to learn about the ancient healing practice of Curanderismo (traditional Mexican spiritual healing). Her creative, spiritual, and academic paths have converged to support an approach to healing that pulls knowledge from the ancestors and contemporary science to reclaim ancient wisdom in new ways.
Celina loves creating a wide array of art including iron sculpture, pottery, metalwork, jewelry making, painting and drawing. Her artwork is intimately connected with personal healing and has been exhibited in galleries and exhibitions in the Los Angeles area.
