Chispas,As they are still in town, Rocío de la Torre & Darío Cieri will again be our teachers on the Sunday afternoon.
Rocío & Darío will be giving (you can do 1, or 2, or 1+2):
⌚ 14:15-15:15 (€15) Workshop caminata - the art of walking, the ultimate experience in tango. See the narrative below.
⌚ 15:15-17:45 (€5 + donativo) Guided práctica incl. mini-class, also on caminata.
So for €20 (+ donativo if you feel for it) you get 3 1/2 hours of classes and practical help and advice to improve your tango walking in a room full of like-minded!!

📍Introduction Rocio & Dario:
Darío Cieri and Rocío de la Torre are professional tango dancers from Buenos Aires. Both were members of the El Cxuce Tango company, and won prizes in competitions and all but besides being exciting stage tango dancers they also are fine salon tango dancers. And for sure they are amongst the most good-looking couples performing tango.

La Chispa Tango Práctica:
📍A práctica. No cortinas.
📍Less advanced dancers practicing with more advanced dancers. This ‘knowledge transfer’ also allows the more accomplished dancers to test and transfer their understanding and skills. Teaching is learning twice.
📍Be careful and considerate in giving feedback.
📍Practice with more than one person as La Chispa is community-focused, though of course this does not mean you need to practice with everyone! Just change around a bit, with whomever you feel comfortable practicing.
📍Use mirada/cabeceo or be more direct but respect boundaries.

Additional option: P+R at Leeuwendalersweg 23b (price around €4,50 p/h + bus ticket - check P+R rules), then take bus 21 to Nieuwe Willemsstraat. Parking in the street near Zaal 100 is €6,50 per hour. ✨What is La Chispa?
La Chispa is a social tango práctica inspired by the Golden Age tradition. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to learn from each other, with the more accomplished dancers helping the less accomplished - just as it was back then in the prácticas of Buenos Aires. No rigid structures, just a space for exploration, learning, and community.
