Suomen kendomaajoukkue ja Suomen kendoliitto yhteistyössä Tampereen kendoseura Fudo Kamaen kanssa kutsuvat kaikki kyu-tasoiset harrastajat leirille 8.-10.5. Leirin opetuksesta vastaavat maajoukkueen jäsenet ja valmentajat, joiden johdolla pääset harjoittelemaan tasoryhmässä niin perusteita kuin hieman vaativampiakin harjoitteita. Leirille ovat tervetulleita kaikki 15 vuotta täyttäneet kendon harrastajat tasosta riippumatta, eli kevään peruskurssilaisetkin ovat lämpimästi tervetulleita oppimaan lisää ja tapaamaan uusia harjoituskavereita! Leirille osallistumiseen ei tarvitse bogua.Tapahtuman järjestäminen on osa maajoukkueen tukitoimintaa, jolloin tapahtumasta saatavat mahdolliset voitot käytetään maajoukkueen matkatukiin.

Leirille ilmoittaudutaan Suomisportissa viimeistään 3.5.2026. Ilmoittautuessa tulee olla hankittuna kendoliiton lisenssi ja vakuutus vuodelle 2026.

Graduoinnit
Leirillä järjestetään graduoinnit vyöarvoille 6.kyu - 1. dan. Muista ilmoittautua graduointiin ajoissa eli viimeistään 1.5.! Ilmoittautuminen graduointeihin tapahtuu erillisen SuomiSport-tapahtuman kautta. Kyu-kokeelle ja Dan-kokeelle on omat tapahtumansa, joten tarkista että ilmoittaudut oikeaan tapahtumaan. The Finnish National Kendo Team and the Finnish Kendo Association, in cooperation with Tampere Kendo Club Fudo Kamae, invite all kyu-level practitioners to a training camp on May 9–10. Instruction at the camp will be provided by members and coaches of the national team. At the camp, you will have the opportunity to train in level-based groups, practicing both fundamentals and more advanced exercises. All kendo practitioners aged 15 and over are welcome to attend the camp. Kendoka from the spring beginner’s course are also warmly encouraged to join, learn more, and meet new training partners! You can attend the seminar without a bogu too.
The organization of the event is part of the national team’s support activities, and any potential profits from the event will be used to support the national team’s travel expenses.

Registration
Registration for the camp is done through Suomisport no later than 3 May 2026.
When registering, participants must already have a Finnish Kendo Federation license and insurance for 2026.

Gradings
Gradings will be organized for 6th kyu-1st dan levels. Remember to sign up for the exam 1st of May the latest! Registration to the exam is done through a separate SuomiSport event. There will be a separate event for the Kyu and for the Dan exam, so please check that you will register for the correct one.
