Get ready to dance! Kwasi Bruni is an Afro-Cuban big band led by bassist Barry Hill and Colombian ex-pat pianist Camilo Losada. Born from a shared love of salsa and Afro-Cuban rhythms, the band has grown into an 11–12 piece powerhouse featuring some of the North Coast’s finest percussionists and wind players.
Expect high-energy dance music, sizzling salsa, son, and mambo, paying homage to the legends of Latin jazz and big band salsa from the 60s and 70s. An arvo of irresistible grooves and vibrant rhythms awaits!
