Storytelling & Drumming with Mama Ayo & Baba Ras D 

Join us for the opening program for our weeklong celebration of Kwanzaa. Participants will hear from Storyteller Mama Ayo, who will share the origins of Kwanzaa, and lead us in the traditional ceremony honoring the ancestors, pouring the libation, and candle lighting. Attendees will also enjoy African drumming with Baba Ras D, who will engage the audience in unity songs, and share African tales.
