•We’re hosting a Barbecue Contest you won’t want to miss—whether you’re competing or just showing up hungry. All proceeds go directly to support the Manhattan's Kaw Valley Rodeo Association, a long-standing local organization that’s been bringing rodeo tradition to the community for decades.

📜 Contest Guidelines
• Gotta be paid up before we start that morning. We’ll take cash & checks, but sorry Pard’ - no I.O.U.’s!
• You’ll be cooking in ALL three categories—ribs, pulled pork, and brisket—and KVRA will provide all the meat (so please don’t bring your own).
• Judging kicks off right at 6:00 PM, so make sure your entries are ready to go on time.
• Winners will take home prizes (no cash payouts for this one).
• Sides won’t be provided, but you are encouraged to feel free to bring or make your own extras if you’d like.
• After judging wraps up, we’ll open things up for public tasting—so your food will be shared with the crowd.
• KVRA may make adjustments as needed, and entering the contest means you’re good with the rules.
