About this Event
KUOW in Conversation with Seattle Author Patrick Hutchison
Thursday, July 16 | Presented by KUOW in partnership with The Seattle Public Library
Join KUOW’s Katie Campbell in conversation with Patrick Hutchison, author of Cabin: Off the Grid Adventures with a Clueless Craftsman.
Who among us hasn’t dreamed of dropping everything and escaping to a cabin in the woods? But how many of us could actually make it work? When Patrick Hutchison left his office job to restore a rundown cabin in the Pacific Northwest, he quickly realized he was far out of his depth. In conversation with Katie Campbell, Hutchison will share stories from six years of renovations, mishaps, and hard-earned lessons from life off the grid.
