About this Event
This Black History Month, join us for an inspiring evening created exclusively for Black women professionals and women in business who are building legacy, leadership, and lasting impact.
Under the powerful theme “Honouring Black Women Brilliance Across Generations: From Nation Builders to Tomorrow’s Visionaries,” we will celebrate the contributions of Black women — past, present, and future.
Black women have always been innovators and nation builders:
• Madam C.J. Walker became one of the first self-made female millionaires in North America.
• Katherine Johnson, NASA mathematician, calculated the flight paths that helped send astronauts into space.
• Marie Van Brittan Brown invented the first home security system.
• Dr. Shirley Jackson’s scientific research led to developments in telecommunications technology.
Today, Black women are among the fastest-growing groups of entrepreneurs, continuing a legacy of excellence and innovation.
And the next visionary? She may be in the room on Friday 20!
