About the Instructor

Her teaching style has evolved through decades of personal practice and study since 1992, offering students a grounded, accessible, and deeply intuitive approach to wellness.
Kahlil believes yoga is for everyone. Her goal is to provide students with a well-balanced foundation and the tools to connect to their inner wisdom. Since 2008, she has served as an instructor at George Washington University, where she teaches courses in Stress Management, Yoga, and Meditation at the Milken Institute School of Public Health.
Inspired by the birth of her four children, Kahlil is a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT). She creates sacred spaces for pregnant women to gather in a nurturing circle of support, trust their intuition, and move in rhythm with the natural cycles of life. Her classes are soulful, spiritual experiences that blend tradition, playfulness, and deep connection.
A passionate educator, Kahlil also enjoys teaching yoga to children of all ages. She is a certified Yoga for Youth, Yoga Ed., and Radiant Child Yoga instructor, with a strong focus on trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approaches.
