Senere på aftenen kan du lade dig henføre til nattens magi, når DJ Berrin Bas spiller et live-set. Få en sanselig oplevelse i Festsalen, hvor de antikke skulpturer er badet i farvestrålende lys, mens du i høretelefoner lytter til musik fra Bes’ hjemegn, MENA-regionen.
Hele aftenen er der introduktioner til særudstillingerne ’Bes. Dæmongud – Ægyptens beskytter’ og 'Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen' samt servering af aftensmad og andre lækkerier i museumscaféen Picnic.
PROGRAM
DÆMONDANS, GUDEMUSIK OG TATOVERINGER I FESTSALEN

Dæmonguden Bes var en finurlig og festlig fyr, som kunne danse og række tunge, være krigerisk og brysk samt beskyttende og omsorgsfuld. Børn og deres voksne kan høre korte historier om Bes samt danse til fængende sange om den lille dæmongud. Børn kan også få en Bes-tatovering (altså sådan én, der går af med vand og sæbe).
DJ BERRIN BAS OG FARVESTRÅLENDE LYS I FESTSALEN
Kl. 20.00-23.30
Lad dig henføre til nattens magi med et live-set af DJ Berrin Bas, som spiller musik fra MENA-regionen. Få en sanselig oplevelse i Festsalen, når du lytter til musikken i høretelefoner, mens de antikke skulpturer står badet i farvestrålende lys. Berrin Bas er også forsanger i det dansk-tyrkiske superband Tuhaf.

I Glyptotekets museumscafé, Picnic, kan børn og voksne spise lækker aftensmad ved langborde indtil kl. 20.30. Derefter bydes der på lækre drinks og skønne snacks.

Culture Night. Nocturnal Magic at the Glyptotek
Inspired by the special exhibition, Bes. Demon God – Protector of Egypt, the Glyptotek has the pleasure of inviting you to a ‘demon dance’ in the museum’s Central Hall. The evening will kick off with stories for adults and children about the magical little deity Bes and dancing to divine music played through glowing headphones.
Later in the evening, you can indulge in the magic of the night as the DJ, Berrin Bas plays a stimulating live set. Enjoy a sensory happening in the Central Hall, where the ancient sculptures will be bathed in brightly-coloured light, as you pop on a set of headphones and listen to music from the MENA region, Bes’s homeland.
Throughout the evening there will be introductions to the Bes. Demon God – Protector of Egypt and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen exhibitions, and the museum’s café Picnic will be serving dinner and other scrumptious goodies.
PROGRAMME
DEMON DANCING, DIVINE MUSIC AND TATTOOS IN THE CENTRAL HALL

The demon deity Bes was a bizarre, fun-loving chap. He would dance and poke his tongue out. He could be hot-tempered and gruff. But on other occasions he was protective and caring. This is an opportunity for children (and their adults) to hear short stories about Bes and to dance to catchy songs about the little demon god. Children can also get a Bes tattoo (at least the kind that can be washed off with soap and water).
THE DJ, BERRIN BAS AND A COLOURFUL LIGHT SHOW IN THE CENTRAL HALL
20:00-23:30
Indulge in the magic of the night with a live set by the DJ, Berrin Bas who will be playing exotic music from the MENA region. Enjoy a sensory happening in the Central Hall as you listen to the music on headphones and marvel at the sight of antique sculptures bathed in brightly-coloured light. Berrin Bas is also the lead singer of the Danish-Turkish super band Tuhaf.

Throughout the evening, our Glyptotek guides will provide introductions to the museum’s current special exhibitions: Bes. You can then visit the exhibitions under your own steam.
