The KSO's 49th season opens with a rollercoaster ride through 300 years of classical music beginning with Symphony No. 25 in G Minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and concluding with music from the ballet Petrushka by Igor Stravinsky. The concert will also feature soloist Teng Li, principal violist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, performing the Viola Concerto by Béla Bartók. A pre-concert talk begins at 6:30 PM. This concert is sponsored in part by Ann and James Tucker. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
