Rediscovered Books is pleased to host Idaho author, journalist, and naturalist Kris Millgate for the release of My Place Among Birds. Kris is a wonderful storyteller, speaker, presenter and film maker, always armed with amazing photographs and visuals.
Books will be for sale at the event and Kris will be signing afterwards.

About the author:
Millgate is an Emmy-winning multimedia journalist who spent a decade in TV news before starting Tight Line Media in 2006. She hosted Time OUT, an outdoor TV news segment, for seven years then created East Idaho Outdoors Magazine in 2014. Her first book, , published in 2019. The sequel, , published in 2021 with the debut of her salmon film Ocean to Idaho. Her third book, My Place Among Beasts published with her wildlife film, On Grizzly Ground, in 2023. Her newest production, Sage Wisdom West, premieres in 2026 along with its backstory book, .
