We're super excited to now be hosting our second Disney Lorcana Official Play League in conjunction with Set 5 - "Shimmering Skies"! This will run from 8th September to 24th November.Our weekly Sunday slot gives you a fun and friendly way to play, trade, and collect with other Illumineers (that's Lorcana players😉).
Whether you’re interested in learning to play or are a more advanced player, our league is welcome to everyone. We have demo decks available in store for potential players to try the game, and sealed product available if you want to dive in!
Disney Lorcana TCG League Structure:
✨A League "round" is four consecutive weeks of play and activities.
✨A League "season" consists of three consecutive League rounds (12 weeks total).
✨Players sign up for the League, then play games and participate in other activities to earn League points! Points mean prizes at the end of every round, and the end of the season overall!
🤩Every player signing up for the league this season receives a foil copy of the "Nala - Mischievous Cub" promo!🤩
Points can be earned through these activities (capped at 10 per week):
✨Attend a league session: 1 Point
✨Win a match (Best 2 out of 3): 2 Points
✨Lose a match (Best 2 out of 3): 1 Point
You can also earn points by:
✨Teaching someone how to play: 2 Points
✨Bringing a new player to the league: 1 Point
✨Wearing something based on your favourite animated Disney character or bringing along a Disney plushie mascot: 1 Point
As you can see, it’s the taking part that’s important for accumulating your points! Players are able to attend whenever they are able, weekly attendance is not mandatory (however less frequent attendance may result in lower points overall).
Multiple copies of each prize are available and will be awarded to the overall winner (2 cards of their choice, and a pin badge of their choice), and then to the top 16 players with at least 3 prize points over the course of a round, and 8 points over the course of the season. In the event of a tie for placement a randomiser will be used to determine who receives what prizes
.
Prizes up for grabs each round (every 4 weeks) include:
✨Promo card: "Stitch - Team Underdog"
✨Promo card: "Chicha - Dedicated Mother"
✨Promo card: "Finder Keepers"
✨Promo pin: "Sisu - Emboldened Warrior"
✨Promo pin: "Hades - Infernal Schemer"
Prizes up for grabs each season (the end of the 12 weeks) include:
✨Lore counter: "Winnie the Pooh - Hunny Wizard" (top 12 players)
✨Yellow Disney Lorcana logo pin (top 16 players)
Any leftover prizing material will be randomly awarded to all league attendees with more than 8 points over the 3 months.
Entry is £6.50 per session, booster pack included.
If we are out of stock of booster packs it will be owed to you if you pay the full cost, or you can opt to pay a reduced rate and not receive product once we have it back in.
