Whether you’re new to cattle work or looking to refine your ranch roping and cutting skills, this hands-on, educational series is designed to elevate both horse and rider. You will have 1:1 time to sharpen those skills and the evening will conclude with group sorting games and a short cattle drive back to pasture — providing practical experience and a confidence-building opportunity for green horses.Throughout the clinic, we will focus on:
• Tracking and pushing a cow with confidence and correct positioning
• Setting up for a high-percentage shot with proper timing and angle
• Slow, methodical cutting maneuvers focused on control and feel
• Ranch roping fundamentals and practical application
• Learning to read your cow — understanding movement, pressure, and anticipation
All disciplines are welcome. This is excellent exposure for young or inexperienced horses.
