KOTK 3.3 – Layer 2 marks the next step of the KOTK exhibition series and continues the exploration begun with Layer 1 solo exhibition shown at Home of cinema, Sofia in October. This exhibition dives straight into the reality of the last decade – AI, blockchain, crypto culture, and the clash between the physical and digital worlds.
Graffiti, Cyberpunk, Comic books and crypto sit at the core of the show, shaping a visual language born online and pushed into physical space. Built as a solo exhibition, Layer 2 brings together KOTK’s newest works – digital prints, 3D-printed sculptures, and selected originals – bridging his graffiti roots with a forward-looking digital mindset.
This show is about transition. Digital-first works meet physical presence, marking the shift from analog streets to digital systems, from walls to screens, from spray to code and vice versa. A graffiti mural will be painted right across the street of the exhibition venue on time for the opening.
KOTK’s visual universe is deeply rooted in pop culture, video games, animated films, and comics. Influences such as, Dr. Doom, Akira, Transformers games like Unreal Tournament, and iconic comics including Batman and Spider-Man shape the aesthetic and narrative language of the show.
💥 About the Artist 💥
Krasen Petkov aka KOTK is a Bulgarian graffiti and mural artist, active since the early 2000s and a member of NLS Crew since 2003. He’s also been a professional tattoo artist since 2013. Known for sharp wildstyle compositions, heavy 3D lettering, and cyberpunk-influenced characters, KOTK blends graffiti, tattoo culture, and digital aesthetics into a distinct visual signature.
He picked up spray paint at 16, and never put it down. For over 15 years, he lived and worked across Spain, Scotland, and Cyprus, fully embedded in local graffiti and street art scenes while building an international profile.
In recent years, his focus has shifted deeper into digital illustration and 3D modeling, keeping cyberpunk at the center of his vision. Since returning to Bulgaria in 2021, KOTK has been actively involved in shaping the local street culture through projects like Street Art for Home (Sito Studio & Visionary), Sofia Urban Art Festival, and appearances at Meeting of Styles (BG, HU, UK), Street Life Festival (Cyprus), Graff Express 2020 (Bulgaria), and Aniventure Comic Con (2021–2025). He’s held a solo show in Alicante and taken part in multiple group exhibitions across Europe.

The exhibition takes place at Alma da Rua, one of São Paulo’s key spaces for graffiti, street culture, and contemporary urban art. Rooted in the streets and open to experimentation, Alma da Rua connects local and international scenes under one roof.
KOTK 3.3 – Layer 2 is the second collaboration between Visionary and Alma da Rua, following their first project in 2023. The exhibition is also part of a one-month artistic mission in Brazil, organized by Visionary and bringing together a Bulgarian crew of the two graffiti & mural artists KOTK & JahOne and the producer Delyana Angelova, focused on exchange, movement, and building bridges between scenes.
The trip of the Bulgarian group is funded by the National Culture Fund, Bulgaria, Mobility program 2025.
Partners are the Embassy of Bulgaria in Brazil, Los Amigos, Nou Colors, Chopp do Beco, and Gold LINE Tattoo.

KOTK 3.3 – Layer 2 marca o próximo passo da série de exposições KOTK e continua a exploração iniciada com a exposição individual Layer 1, apresentada no Home of Cinema, em Sofia, em outubro. Esta exposição mergulha diretamente na realidade da última década – IA, blockchain, cultura cripto e o choque entre os mundos físico e digital.
Grafite, cyberpunk, histórias em quadrinhos e criptomoedas estão no centro da mostra, moldando uma linguagem visual nascida online e projetada no espaço físico. Concebida como uma exposição individual, Layer 2 reúne os trabalhos mais recentes de KOTK – impressões digitais, esculturas impressas em 3D e originais selecionados – unindo suas raízes no graffiti com uma mentalidade digital voltada para o futuro.
Esta exposição é sobre transição. Obras digitais encontram a presença física, marcando a mudança das ruas analógicas para os sistemas digitais, das paredes para as telas, do spray para o código e vice-versa. Um mural de grafite será pintado bem em frente ao local da exposição a tempo da inauguração.
O universo visual de KOTK está profundamente enraizado na cultura pop, videogames, filmes de animação e quadrinhos. Influências como Dr. Doom, Akira, jogos de Transformers como Unreal Tournament e quadrinhos icônicos, incluindo Batman e Homem-Aranha, moldam a estética e a linguagem narrativa da série.
💥 Sobre o Artista 💥
Krasen Petkov, também conhecido como KOTK, é um artista búlgaro de grafite e muralismo, ativo desde o início dos anos 2000 e membro da NLS Crew desde 2003. Ele também é tatuador profissional desde 2013. Conhecido por suas composições wildstyle marcantes, letras 3D complexas e personagens com influência cyberpunk, KOTK mescla grafite, cultura da tatuagem e estética digital em uma assinatura visual distinta.
Ele começou a usar tinta spray aos 16 anos e nunca mais parou. Por mais de 15 anos, viveu e trabalhou na Espanha, Escócia e Chipre, totalmente imerso nas cenas locais de grafite e arte urbana, enquanto construía um perfil internacional.
Nos últimos anos, seu foco se voltou mais para a ilustração digital e a modelagem 3D, mantendo o cyberpunk no centro de sua visão. Desde que retornou à Bulgária em 2021, KOTK tem se envolvido ativamente na formação da cultura de rua local por meio de projetos como Street Art for Home (Sito Studio & Visionary), Sofia Urban Art Festival e participações no Meeting of Styles (BG, HU, UK), Street Life Festival (Chipre), Graff Express 2020 (Bulgária) e Aniventure Comic Con (2021–2025). Ele realizou uma exposição individual em Alicante e participou de diversas exposições coletivas por toda a Europa.

A exposição acontece na Alma da Rua, um dos principais espaços de São Paulo para grafite, cultura de rua e arte urbana contemporânea. Enraizada nas ruas e aberta à experimentação, a Alma da Rua conecta cenas locais e internacionais sob o mesmo teto.
KOTK 3.3 – Layer 2 é a segunda colaboração entre a Visionary e a Alma da Rua, após o primeiro projeto em 2023. A exposição também faz parte de uma missão artística de um mês no Brasil, organizada pela Visionary e que reúne um grupo búlgaro formado pelos artistas de grafite e mural KOTK e JahOne e pela produtora Delyana Angelova, com foco em intercâmbio, movimento e construção de pontes entre cenas.
A viagem do grupo búlgaro é financiada pelo Fundo Nacional de Cultura, Bulgaria, programa Mobilidade 2025.
