Supper Club Fundraiser
Support our Community Cookery School by joining us for our next Secret Supper Club, hosted at the wonderful Bernie's Canteen in Altrincham.
On the evening you will get to enjoy a spectacular 3 course meal prepared by RamYum chefs - with a twist...!
This menu will be a play on traditional fine-dining combined with Korean flavours and cooking techniques.
Starter:
Torched mackerel, Danmuji, whipped tofu, sesame
Aubergine, Danmuji, whipped tofu, sesame (VE)
Main:
Ox cheek, sagol – gukmul, sweet potato vermicelli served with bone marrow, kimchi, rice
Enoki, doenjang-jjigae, sweet potato vermicelli served with oyster mushroom, kimchi, rice (VE)
Dessert:
Filled hotteok, hazelnuts, stem ginger oat cream (VE)
How It Works
Arrive at Bernie's Canteen for 7pm.
We will begin the evening with our special twist, then sit down to eat.
The night will end around 9:30pm.
Fighting Food Poverty since 2014
Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise fighting food poverty on multiple fronts. Our Community Cookery School teams teach people how to cook, run food bank drives at market events, help people get jobs in the food sector and coordinate community meal drives that provide emergency meals for our beneficiaries. All proceeds from the evening will support this continued outreach work as our teams across the UK continue to develop.
Our Social Impact
Since 2014 we have taught 5,000+ people how to cook, including stroke survivors, young carers, food bank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 15,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 150,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.
