Digital Dentistry Workflows and 3D Printing

Dr. Sanders, the founder of Ascend Dental Education, will give a full day presentation with lecture and hands-on components. The lecture will cover a welcome to Digital Dentistry, the fundamentals of Exocad. Participants will design a clinical nightguard in Exocad and export a ready to print STL. The afternoon will continue with printing nightguards, with SprintRay, as well as designing and preparing models for printing. The course will also include demonstrations and discussion of other possibilities such as stents, waxups, and provisionals, and well as finishing and post-processing lab work.
Participants will leave this course with an Exocad workflow template, printing protocols for SprintRay, a full digital workflow they can implement immediately, and a recommended equipment list and clinical checklist.
If possible, please bring a scan of yourself (not a solid model), upper arch, lower arch and the bite. Export the open mesh scan in either .STL or .PLY/.OBJ (preferred) on a clean flash drive.
