We hope you can join us for an enjoyable & extended Konpa workshop that brings fun and laughter but also improves your dance skills!
ℹ️ABOUT THE CLASS
We will start the evening with a social meet-up, drinks, treats, registration, and then commence with our 3 hour class (including 15mins break) followed by our party to practice those moves!
The class is beginner friendly but is also suitable for those more advanced. Either way ALL are welcome. The class will be open level, and focuses on partner work. We will go through the basics of the dance, turns, gouyad and Konpa Etiquette. We will add new moves and more challenging variations for experienced dancers as well so feel free to bring a friend or partner for a nice chilled but exciting Saturday night🍸💃🏾

ABOUT THE ARTIST
🔸 Petite Madame 🔸
With rhythmic flair and poise, Petite Madame (@konpa_petitemadame) based in London, aims to elevate and spread her love for Konpa in the dance community.
Through her Caribbean heritage and love for dance, she launched monthly Konpa classes in London, drawing from her experience and collaborations, with The Elite Crew & Konpassion from The Netherlands (just to name a few) as well as organizing parties, giving the dance genre its deserving and standalone spotlight amongst the Caribbean diaspora and hoping to make more cultural connections and positive impact in the dance community.
Now, she aspires to prepare more Konpa Lovers to gracefully dance to the infectious beat on the dance floor.
