Raw Umbra er et rockband fra København. Musikken kan bedst beskrives som en eklektisk blanding af mange forskelligartede indflydelser. Disse er blandt andet 70er rock, progressiv rock, grunge, syrerock og folk. Det sammenvævede lydtapet der udfolder sig fra disse udtryk, bølger mellem bløde tryllebundne syrede krusninger, til intense og støjende udbrud der forliser sindelag. De indånder denne verdens håbløshed og forfald, og udånder deres lydværk, og herigennem opnår de katarsis fra nutidens apati.

Nordic Cactus
Nordic Cactus er et post-punk/garagerock band fra Malmø, startet i 2023. Forestil jer at Pavement var nødsaget til at dele en tourbus med The Velvet Underground og Jonathan Richman – sarkastisk, catchy og en smule flabet. Trioen har spillet over 30 shows og tre DIY-turnéer i Tyskland og Danmark. De trives best i svedfyldte klubber og på skæve scener. Musikken skuler af gud, forbander himlen, og hænger, trods det, stadig fast i ørerne. Blandt indflydelser nævnes CBGB punk, The White Stripes, Galaxie 500 og Nirvana.

Two underground rock bands from the Øresund Region are playing a concert at Metronomen. Raw Umbra from Copenhagen and Nordic Cactus from Malmø, are inviting you to an evening of noisy rock. You can expect socially critical poetry, psychedelic hard rock, post-punk and garage rock.
Raw Umbra
Raw Umbra is a rock band from Copenhagen. The music can best be described as an eclectic melange of many diverse influences. Among these are 70ies rock, progressive rock, grunge, psychedelic rock and folk. The intertwined tapestry of sound unfolding from these multiple expressions, oscillate between soft spellbound psychedelic ripples and intense noisy eruptions that devastate minds. They breathe in the hopelessness and decay of this world, and exhale their sonic oeuvre, achieving katharsis from the apathy of the present.

Nordic Cactus
Nordic Cactus is a post-punk garage rock band from Malmö, Sweden, formed in 2023. Imagine if Pavement had to split a tour van with The Velvet Underground and Jonathan Richman—sarcastic, catchy, and a little bratty. With over 30 shows under their belt and three DIY tours across Germany and Denmark, the trio thrives in sweaty clubs and on crooked stages. Their music flinches at god, curses the sky, and still gets stuck in your head. Influences include: CBGB punk, The White Stripes, Galaxie 500, B-52s, and Nirvana.
