U vremenu u kojem se tradicijska glazba često iskorištava u isprazne turističke svrhe i kad će se naći mnoštvo onih koji tvrde kako se tradicija ne smije mijenjati ni osuvremenjivati, Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe svojim pristupom vraća cijelu priču na istinske postavke. Tradicija je živa stvar, tradicija je uvijek bila podležna promjenama, a s obzirom na vrijeme u kojem živimo, glazba koju Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe stvara pravi je omjer tradicije i suvremenosti.
Članovi grupe Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe su se upoznali na raznim radionicama tradicijske glazbe, a dolaze iz Francuske, Portugala, Irske, Hrvatske te Bosne i Hercegovine. U grupi su dobro nam poznati Dunja Bahtijarević i Nenad Kovačić, a uz njih tu su Teresa Campos iz Portugala, Louise Calzada, Nils Peschanski, Raphael Hardy iz Francuske te Darragh Quinn iz Irske.
Koncert je realiziran u sklopu Kontejnerovog koncertnog ciklusa sufinanciranog sredstvima Ministarstva kulture i medija.

At a time when traditional music is often exploited for superficial tourist purposes, and when many argue that tradition should neither be altered nor modernised, Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe’s approach restores the discussion to its essential foundations. Tradition is a living entity; it has always been subject to change. In the context of the present moment, the music created by Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe strikes a compelling balance between tradition and contemporaneity.
The members of Çhâñt Élečtrónïqùe met at various traditional music workshops and come from France, Portugal, Ireland, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The group includes the well-known Dunja Bahtijarević and Nenad Kovačić, alongside Teresa Campos (Portugal), Louise Calzada, Nils Peschanski and Raphael Hardy (France), and Darragh Quinn (Ireland).
The concert is part of KONTEJNER’s concert programme cycle, co-funded by the Ministry of Culture and Media.
