Cool Off with Kona Ice Summer Snow Cone Celebration on June 28North Scottsdale United Methodist Church (NSUMC) invites the community to cool off this summer with a special visit from the Kona Ice snow cone truck on Sunday, June 28, from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Families, friends, neighbors, and visitors of all ages are welcome to stop by for refreshing snow cones, summer fellowship, and a fun community atmosphere following morning worship services.
Snow cones are cold enough to make you pause mid-bite, sweet enough to feel like a treat from childhood, and colorful enough to turn an ordinary summer morning into something a little more like a celebration. In the heat of summer, snow cones don’t just cool you off — they make you smile, slow down, and enjoy the moment.
The Kona Ice event will also coincide with NSUMC’s Compassion VBS/Day Camp Celebration Sunday, featuring:
• Special songs presented by campers
• Highlight videos from the week
• Sunday School celebration activities for children and families
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our church and community to gather together, celebrate our children, and enjoy a cool summer treat,” organizers shared.
Whether attending worship, celebrating VBS, or simply stopping by for a snow cone and conversation, all are warmly invited to join the fun.
