Tématická performance k výstavě Překlenutí, v provedení 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗼, pracuje s motivem slimáka v zahradě jako se silným symbolickým nástrojem. Vychází z pojetí zahrady jako prostoru podléhajícího principům selekce, řízenosti a plánování - prostředí, které je formováno lidskou kontrolou a snahou o uspořádání. Proti tomuto rámci Junhao ztělesňuje postavu slimáka jako nekontrolované médium, které těmito pravidly prostupuje, ignoruje je a pohybuje se prostorem navzdory vnějším podmínkám, podle vlastních, nečitelných pravidel.
S těmito významy pracují Tomanová a Junhao v symbolické rovině a rozvíjí napětí mezi řízeným prostorem a neřízeným pohybem, mezi kontrolou a spontánností, mezi tím, co je plánováno, a tím, co se děje navzdory plánům. Performance tak otevírá otázky hranic kontroly, autonomie pohybu i možnosti narušovat předem dané struktury.
Výstava "Překlenutí" představuje 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇𝘂 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗼𝘂 (*1991) v její současné malířské tvorbě, v níž pracuje s vlastnoručně připravovanými přírodními pigmenty a procesy krystalizace. Autorka se zde věnuje tématu změny, koloběhu přírody a proměn spojených s růstem, zráním a uchováváním - procesům, které propojují zkušenost zahrady a sklepa, povrchu a hloubky, světla a tmy. Pomocí zpola kontrolovaného bujení krystalických struktur nechává vznikat obrazy, v nichž se abstraktní a zobrazivé motivy prolínají s organickými stopami času a přírodních procesů. Její malby nevznikají jako uzavřené kompozice, ale jako záznamy okamžiku, kdy se autorčina kontrola uvolňuje a materiál začíná “pracovat sám”. Tomanová tak vytváří metaforický prostor sklepních chodeb a nik, kde se pod vrstvami chladu a temnoty uchovávají vzpomínky na léto - obrazy, které lze číst jako hledání bezpečného, mentálního útočiště, v němž zůstává zachováno to podstatné.
𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗼 je umělecký/ká výzkumník/nice, art worker a kulturní pracovník/nice se sídlem v Nizozemsku, jehož/jejíž multidisciplinární praxe zahrnuje instalaci, performance, sochařství, pohyblivý obraz a psaní. Ve své tvorbě zkoumá komplexní průsečíky historických, sociálních a politických kontextů prostřednictvím výzkumně orientovaného přístupu.
Jeho/její tvorba vychází z queer a diasporických identit a kriticky se vztahuje k socio-politickým systémům s cílem zviditelňovat marginalizované dějiny a hlasy. Důraz klade na dekoloniální, deimperiální a kolektivní sociální praktiky. Junhaovy/iny recentní práce byly prezentovány v institucích, jako jsou Greylight Project (Heerlen), Tofu Collective Space (Kodaň), Stichting Perdu (Amsterdam), de Appel (Amsterdam), Kunstliefde x UIT Feest Festival (Utrecht) a Exbunker (Utrecht).

The thematic performance accompanying the exhibition Bridging, performed by 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗼, uses the motif of a snail in the garden as a powerful symbolic tool. It is based on the concept of the garden as a space subject to the principles of selection, control, and planning—an environment shaped by human control and the desire for order. Against this framework, Junhao embodies the figure of the snail as an uncontrolled medium that permeates these rules, ignores them, and moves through space despite external conditions, according to its own, unreadable rules.
Tomanová and Junhao work with these meanings on a symbolic level and develop the tension between controlled space and uncontrolled movement, between control and spontaneity, between what is planned and what happens despite plans. The performance thus raises questions about the limits of control, the autonomy of movement, and the possibility of disrupting predetermined structures.
The exhibition "Vaulting" presents 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮́ (*1991) and her current painting work, in which she works with hand-prepared natural pigments and crystallization processes. The artist focuses on the theme of change, the cycle of nature, and the transformations associated with growth, maturation, and preservation - processes that connect the experience of the garden and the cellar, surface and depth, light and darkness. Using the semi-controlled growth of crystalline structures, she creates images in which abstract and figurative motifs intertwine with organic traces of time and natural processes. Her paintings are not created as closed compositions, but as records of the moment when the artist's control is released and the material begins to "work on its own." Tomanová thus creates a metaphorical space of cellar corridors and niches, where memories of summer are preserved under layers of cold and darkness - images that can be read as a search for a safe, mental refuge in which the essential remains preserved.
𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗼 is an artistic researcher, art labor, and cultural worker based in the Netherlands whose multidisciplinary practice spans installation, performance, sculpture, moving image, and writing. Their work explores the complex intersections of historical, social, and political contexts through a research-driven approach. Grounded in queer and diasporic identities, Junhao's practice engages with socio-political systems to foreground marginalized histories and voices, emphasizing decolonial, deimperial, and collective social practices. Junhao's recent works have been presented at various institutions, including Greylight Project (Heerlen), Tofu Collective Space(Copenhagen), Stichting Perdu (Amsterdam), de Appel (Amsterdam), Kunstliefde x UIT Feest Festival (Utrecht), and Exbunker (Utrecht).
