About this Event
Celebrating one of Bath’s iconic cinemas – now home to Komedia – this very special event explores the inside story of how Komedia took on the venue 18 years ago and brought it back to life. Richard Daws, Chair of Komedia Bath, will give a talk and presentation followed by a walk around the venue auditorium and balcony.
This is an event not to be missed!
The Beau Nash opened in 1920 replacing the earlier Electric Theatre on the same site, Bath’s first cinema which opened in 1910.
Part of the Museum of Bath at Work’s supporting programme for Lights! Camera! Action, an exhibition about the history of cinemas and films in Bath (runs till 31 October and weekends in November) https://museumofbath.org/lights-camera-action-120-years-of-cinemas-and-films-in-bath/
