Plenty at the Square - a creative vegetarian café based at South Square Community Arts Centre in Thornton - are running a weekly programme of fun workshops and events at Darley Street Market. These workshops will teach a variety of techniques to prevent food waste through preserving, pickling, drying using the whole vegetable.This workshop will delve into the wonders of fermentation including the history of kombucha brewing. You will brew your own kombucha to take home and leave inspired to make more. at the ancient art of fermentation.
This workshop is free to attend but places are limited to 6, so booking is essential. The workshop will take place outside the Wellnest, which can be found on the Fresh Food Floor of Darley Street Market overlooking the Courtyard.
