Do you love our local koalas? 🌿 Want to do something positive to help protect them? Join us at Whites Hill Reserve on Sunday morning, 26 October 2025 for the Whites Hill Koala Count!
📝Whites Hill and surrounding neighbourhoods are home to a thriving population of resident koalas. By taking part, you’ll be helping collect vital data to track their numbers and health

- Adults: $6 (all proceeds go directly to support local koala carers & wildlife rescuers)
- Kids: FREE!
💚 How to take part:
1️⃣ Join a team walking the trails at Whites Hill to record koala sightings.
2️⃣ OR do your own koala count survey in your neighbourhood.
After the count, enjoy a friendly morning tea 🍪☕ where we’ll share sightings, collect survey sheets, and draw some fun prizes! 🎁
🚫 Please remember: no pets please. Some trails are unsealed, so wear sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle 💧 and binoculars if you have them!
🕗 Schedule – Whites Hill Reserve
- 8:00–8:15 AM: Welcome & Instructions
- 8:15–9:30 AM: Walking & Counting
- 9:30–10:00 AM: Morning Tea, Wrap-Up & Prize Draw
Important information:
- Under 16's to have guardian present and supervising
- This is an outdoor event in a bushland environment. Please wear closed-in shoes, a broad-brimmed hat, a shirt with sleeves, and bring a water bottle.
- Please read the safety information in the confirmation email carefully
- We do not accept bookings for more than 5 people. If you have a larger group, please contact us directly to discuss
- Families welcome. All children must be supervised.
