A one-hour showcase of local voices — soloists and emerging artists celebrating Knysna’s diverse cultures.
AIR Dance Challenge – Qualifying Rounds
An electrifying competition featuring dance crews and solo performers, celebrating African dance styles.
Official Opening Ceremony
Cultural procession, Indigenous Rain Dance Invocation, Human Rights reflection, and addresses by civic and cultural leaders.
Dance Finals & Awards
The ultimate dance-off and prize-giving ceremony.
AIR Project Ensemble
Featuring Dizu Plaatjies, iconic ethnomusicologist and world-renowned multi-instrumentalist, performing alongside the AIR Project musicians in a powerful celebration of indigenous instruments and heritage music traditions.
Afternoon Live Performances
A curated line-up of regional artists building energy into the evening: Anqobile, Breezin, Hakkiesdraad, Shaza & King A Beats.
HEADLINE PERFORMANCE
A 90-minute explosive closing set by Prince Kaybee, bringing chart-topping Afro-house energy to Loerie Park for an unforgettable festival finale.
🎨 “NATURE’S LANGUAGE” VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITION
An exhibition celebrating Knysna’s indigenous wildlife and ecosystem featuring artists from diverse backgrounds. Through contemporary works, the exhibition honours our deep relationship with land, biodiversity, and place.
🛍 AFRICAN CRAFT VILLAGE
Explore handcrafted beadwork, textiles, indigenous instruments, and artisan products from across the Garden Route. Meet the makers and support local creative entrepreneurship.
