Policy, legislation and activism tend to dominate spaces where environmental issues and justice are concerned. But in addition to that vital work, we must take time for our own minds and bodies, recognizing that nature is not “out there” -- we are of nature.
Join us for a unique experience in artistic expression and environmental awareness as we take time to “map” out where in our bodies and senses we experience our relationship to nature.
The activity will be followed by a gallery walk and sharing for those who wish to take part.
A short meditation session led by local meditation teacher Dennis Kelly will conclude the program.
Note: The activity is accessible, with participation on full length body-maps or seated at tables with letter-size paper templates.
