Join Southside Community Land Trust on Monday, April 13 from 6:00–8:00pm at the Healthy Food Hub, 404 Broad Street, for a Training & Community Conversation: Know Your Rights & ICE On The Farm.
Rhode Island Senator Tiara Mack and SCLT Conservation Associate David Kuma will lead presentations on your constitutional rights and what's at stake when immigration enforcement reaches the places where our community grows food: the farms and gardens tended by immigrants, refugees, and people of color who deserve to work the land without fear.
This event is free and open to everyone. You don't need to be a farmer, a gardener, or an SCLT member to belong in the room.
Live interpretation available in Spanish, Kirundi, and Hmong.
