Ages are that of the characters and not necessarily the actors.
Auditions will consist of situational improv in character. Please be prepared to show your ability to improv and “go with the flow”.
Characters
Lou Dumbello (35-50) – Vinnie’s MC and General Flunky, he once sang like a bird but after ten years at Vinnie’s Club his voice has flown the coop.
Hal Brown (40-60) – A ventraloquist with more to hide than moving lips. His case contains a dummy that really shoot off his mouth.
Roxy Barn (40-50) – A stand-up comic with an attitude as rotten as her life. Where she comes from they didn’t call her “Rocky” for nothing.
Bamby Lynn (18-30) – A blond with measurements higher than her IQ. She thinks doing the splits is a talent. One look at her and you know why she won.
“Ian” Wayne (18-30) – A little fairy with eyes to make it big in show-biz with his tutti-frutti dog act and if anyone gets in his way they better watch out, he was named after the “Duke.”
Lotta Verboten (35-45) – A lounge singer who’s been kept locked away from society, but now she’s out and she’s singing the blues.
The Great Somnambulo (30-60) – A hypnotist who can put an entire room to sleep by just talking to them. His turban hides more than Grecian Formula.
