About this Event
Bring your yarn scraps and I will guide you to freehanding your own color-focused garments in knit or crochet. Tops, sleeves, hats, the world is your oyster!
Please bring a selection of scrap yarn in a color palette for your project, plus knitting needles or crochet hooks, and stitch markers you would like to use.
This class is for makers who want to design their own garments! Beginners welcome :) but basic knowledge of knitting or crochet is necessary.
About me: I am a Boston-based knitwear designer, yarn spinner, and dyer. I runs KO Knits which centers around one-of-a-kind knitwear made from yarn I spin and naturally dye using locally foraged plants. I love to share my passion for fiber art by teaching classes at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education and local fiber studios.
