About this Event
Level up your knife skills for easier and faster home cooking in this hands-on-skills focused class. Make a fresh tomato and cucumber salad while practicing the main knife cuts of slice, dice, mince, and chiffonade along with a simple homemade vinaigrette. We will discuss the basics of what types of knives to use and why, how to properly hold and use a knife, and options to maintain your knife to keep it sharp. You are encouraged to bring your own chef's knife (if you have one) to practice with your own tools. Otherwise, knives are provided.
Date and Time: Saturday, November 9th from 1-3pm
