‘Palace of Dreams’, KMF’s third movie, is classic "edutainment".
Filmed and released in 2009, the film was targeted at young people advising them about the dangers of HIV. it was shown in Cambodian cinemas, multi-TV channels and used in extensive outreach programmes around the country.
With a large cast of attractive young stars, the action moves quickly between town and country while telling the story of three young men who set out to win the affection of the girl of their dreams.
Written by British novelist, Matt Baylis (screenwriter for KMF's second movie, the award-winning ‘Vanished’), ‘Palace of Dreams’, commissioned from KMF by BBC World Service Trust, was directed by Cambodian Tom Som and filmed by top British DoP Bill Broomfield.
