KMFA Classical welcomes The Butler Opera Center to the Draylen Mason Music Studio for a special noontime preview of Verdi's La Traviata on Tuesday, October 1.Enjoy an afternoon of delightful opera scenes performed by members of the Butler Opera Center ensemble, directed by Aimée Minjeong Kim. The Parisian party girl Violetta is determined to leave her scandalous past behind her when she encounters uncondisional love from a handsome poet named Alfredo. But when his disapproving father enters the picture, Violetta's past re-emerges, and she is forced to make an impossible choice.
La Traviata scenes will be previewed at KMFA ahead of the full production at the McCullough Theatre Ocober 17, 20, 25 & 27.
