From enchanting audiences around the world to being recognized as BBC’s Music Magazine “Rising Star,” Polish-born Klaudia Kudelko is a pianist who knows no bounds. Classic FM’s “Young Classical Star” is captivating audiences worldwide with her mesmerizing interpretations of the greatest compositions of all time and earning critical acclaim at every turn.
Klaudia debuted her first full-length solo album, “TIME” in 2022, going on to receive critical acclaim in the US, Canada, UK, France and Germany. The 12-track album comprises works by three composers integral to Klaudia’s musical identity: Franz Schubert, Frederic Chopin, and Grażyna Bacewicz. “TIME” charted in Top 20 Classical releases on Apple Music in the UK and in Top 40 on Classic FM charts.
Kudelko’s 2024 performance highlights include concerts at the Eroica Hall in Vienna, St. Charles Hall in Switzerland, but also debut solo recitals at the Forbidden City Hall in Beijing, Oriental Arts Center in Shanghai, Chengdu City Concert Hall and the Bay Opera in Shenzhen.
Klaudia holds the achievement of best live performance at Carnegie Hall (Outstanding Performance Prize, New York – 2017), first prize at the Concert Artists International Competition (New York – 2017) and a finalist at the Los Angeles International Piano Competition (Honorable Mention, Los Angeles – 2019); she has been described by judges as an exceptional and special artist with an unique poetry in her interpretations.
As a soloist, Klaudia graced the stage in many important concert halls across Poland such as the Grand Theater & National Opera, Łazienki Królewskie and The Royal Castle, and Palac Radziejowice to name a few. Internationally, she performed in many countries including Poland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and the United States. She plays with prominent orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra in Kielce, the Philharmonic Orchestra in Rzeszów, the Symphonic Orchestra in Zamość and the Zenon Brzewski Orchestra in Warsaw.
Klaudia was a member of international piano masterclasses with the great Pavel Gililov, Robert McDonald, Jacques Rouvier, Olga Kern, William Grant Naboré, Paul Schenly, David Jalbert, Pierre van der Westhuizen, Jerome Lowenthal, Awadagin Pratt and Andrzej Jasiński. She has been selected as a participant to the prestigious International Mendelssohn Academy in Leipzig Germany, PianoFest Hamptons in the US, ClaviCologne Music Festival in Germany, Accademia di Mussica di Cagliari in Italy and Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo in Italy. In 2018, she performed two double Mozart piano concertos with the Mozart Chamber Orchestra in Warsaw.
Klaudia graduated with a Master’s degree from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, 2019 in the piano class of Professor Alicja Paleta-Bugaj and Dr. Konrad Skolarski. She was honored with the scholarship of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw, the Mayor of Zamość, the Marshall’s Office in Lublin and the Kościuszko Foundation in New York.
Klaudia is inspired by various art forms. Collaborating with the Polish National Ballet, she has co-created a choreography concept at Creations 2016 in Warsaw, Poland and also performed Frederic Chopin’s music live throughout the show’s entire run.
It is noticeable that Klaudia Kudelko is well established in the classical realm, and will be remembered for her representation in a male dominated field. Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace – DNA (France) states, “Between finesse and grandiloquence, Klaudia Kudelko shines and twirls on a classical repertoire in the broad sense. An artist to follow, certainly.”
