Ensemble Klang Systematiek presents an extraordinary evening featuring two icons of ambient music: Brian Eno and Gavin Bryars.
Step into a world of sound that blends meditative calm with compelling storytelling, drawing you gently into its immersive atmosphere.
The program features Eno’s groundbreaking Discreet Music, performed here in a completely unique acoustic version. While his work is almost always associated with electronics in the Czech Republic, this chamber interpretation reveals a delicate, intimate, and surprisingly human side of his music.
The evening is complemented by Gavin Bryars’ renowned The Sinking of the Titanic. A collaborator of Eno since the 1970s, Bryars naturally shares a musical world with him. In this piece, he brings to life the story of the string ensemble that, according to legend, continued playing even as the Titanic sank. The result is a captivating sonic landscape where ambient serenity merges with dramatic narrative, inviting the audience to fully enter the music.
The concert is open to all ages and takes place in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Forget traditional seating—you are free to move around the hall, choose your spot, and let the music surround you.
