Get ready to groove to the rhythm of Kizomba and Semba! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this workshop will take your skills to the next level.

In The Groove Studios, Oakland

2 PART WORKSHOP:

2 1/2 hour, two part workshop joining together the fundamentals of connection, lead/follow techniques and basic movements with an emphasis on rotations (virgulas & retrocessos), followed by improver techniques and enhancements of fundamentals to refine your dance and add playfulness and musicality!

The goal of this workshop is to give high quality kizomba/Semba instruction for dancers across levels, in a two part workshop format.

HOW IT WORKS:

There are two workshop options.

Part 1 Only; open to all levels of dancers.
Full workshop (part 1 & 2); open to dancers who are comfortable with the fundamentals of Kizomba. Part 2 is specifically for those that have some years of experience. Those taking Part 2 must take Part 1, as it will build off of the movements and techniques of the first half of the workshop.

*If you are unsure of your level please check the movement list below or message me. There will be an option to add on Part 2 for those that are comfortable with the fundamentals after Part 1, however please note that Part 2 will move faster with less emphasis of breaking down movements like in Part 1.
